Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was issued a citation for driving with no valid driver's license in Florida saying no FL DL, there will be a court and I have proofs of having a valid out-of-state license and I an bot a resident of FL. The case was just opened and there are no results. The police officer put it as a criminal violation, and that will be heard in traffic court. Do i need to disclose this citation on my I-485 if they are saying excluding traffic violations?

Normally, you need to obtain a FL license within 30 days if you drive and live and/or work in Florida. If you have an out of state license, and do not live or work in Florida, you may have a valid defense. Driving without a license is a Criminal Traffic Violation in Florida that you have to report on your I 485. Although it may seem like a small infraction, it is important that the case is disposed of properly as to not affect any possible immigration benefit.
