Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Iwork at a convenience store and sold a pipe to a customer who said he wanted to use it for drugs. I told him I could only sell it for tobacco use, but I sold it anyway. It was part of a sting, but the cops arrested a different clerk. His attorney is arguing that they got the wrong guy. Do I have to worry about this?

Based on your facts, you advised the "buyer" that you do not sell drug paraphernalia. If you get arrested (unlikely) you would have a good defense.
It sounds like you were part of the sting that happened here in Pinellas county. Your defense is good but it is possible they may still want to pursue you as co-conspirator. Since I practice in Pinellas county, if you or your co-worker need an attorney (and at least one of you will), then feel free to give me a call.
