Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
In January 2010, I received a deferred prosecution for possesion of marijuana less than 20 grams (a 0.5g half smoked cannabais cigar). I did community service.
I just came from court for another possesion charge less than 20grams (0.7gram cannabis cigar) and now I have 6 months probation. I plan to expunge one of these records so it doesn't affect my ability to be hired later on. Which case should I try to expunge or does it even matter?
And I plan to give up this habit because this is ridiculous, I work, pay taxes, and take care of my responsibilities but I won't get on the soap box. Thanks for the help.

First, make sure that you are eligible to get it sealed. You can not be convicted of either of these charges or any other charge in order to be eligible to be sealed. Assuming that you did not get convicted of anything, then I suggest you get the most recent one sealed. You can only do that once you complete your probation though. My advice would be to get an attorney once you complete your probation.
