Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
What is Jenk Rule? I have found it in connection with Maxims of Laws but I don't understand how it is used. Is the rule many laws or one rule?

Out of idle curiousity, I had to google this to see what you could possibly be referring to.
Are you referring to Maxims of Law from Bouvier's 1856 Law Dictionary? It cites to Jenk (who or what that is, I do not know) in several places. Such as:
Frustr petis quoa statim alteri reddere cogeris. Vainly you ask that which you will immediately be compelled to restore to another. Jenk. Cent. 256.
In praesentia majoris potestatis, minor potestas cessat. In the presence of the superior power, the minor power ceases. Jenk. Cent. 214.
Interest reipublicae ne maleficia remaneant impunita. It concerns the commonwealth that crimes do not remain unpunished. Jenk. Cent. 30, 31.
Attorneys don't use these anymore. Some legal latin is still used, but very sparingly.
Were you just trying to see if someone would actually look this up, or do you have a legal question?
