Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
this kid told his mom that i stole his itouch and she called the police and the police officer told me that all they have to do is sign a witness statement that says i took it and i will be charged for it. my question is , is it possible for me to get charged for it just because he said i did it or do they need to have more evidence and find the ipod in my possesion?

First of all, DO NOT GIVE A STATEMENT TO THE POLICE!!! I can't stress that enough. They can take this kids's word that you stole it in order to arrest you. However, they need proof whether it's an eyewitness, a video, or the property in your possession. You should talk to an attorney immediately.
