Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Me and my kids father got into a argument i drove way to gulf breeze florida from pensacola and when we got there he said he wasnt taking me home i got angry and did a lil damage to the car but how can his sister press charges against me when its his car but registered mom

The owner of the vehicle would be considered the "victim" in the case and only they would get restitution. If it is his sister's vehicle, you can still be charged but the restitution would go to his sister unless she waives her right to it. All that is a matter of sentencing but it doesn't change the fact that they could still charge you if the state (not the father or his sister or anyone else) decides to go forward.
