What kills a state year?
If my son is sentenced to two years, how long will he actually have to serve? In Kentucky 7 mths and 21 days kills a year. What is the amount in Florida.

Fl is 85 percent which 10.2 months per year or 20.4 months on 2 years which is 20 months and a few weeks.

All inmates sentenced to prison must do a minimum of 85% of their sentence. Or roughly 10 months for each year they are imprisoned.
