Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Larceny
My ex wife during the time of separation had signature on the company's cheeckbook.
The last check issued was say 124, she took two checks from the back of the checkbook, say 230 and 315 and cashed them. The total ammount taken was $1300.
Is that a felony?.

Re: Larceny
If she had "signature" that means that she had permision to write, and sign checks, therefore no crime took place. In Florida it is a felony if the check amount is above $300, and it was non-permitted, with the intent to permanently deprive the owner of the funds.
