Law for credit time served under probation control

My friend is was on probation in Dade county and transfered probation to broward. he then violated in broward and got some new charges. He took the charges to trial and won the case but he has been in jail for 18 months will he recieve credit time served for the dade since he has been in jail for the time that he was suppose the on probation.

Yes he gets credit if he was booked in on the broward/dade vop in addition to new charges.

He does get credit for any time he spend in jail on the VOP. However, depending on whether there were additional violations, and what the underlying charge is, he may or may not get time served.
