Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Law Malpractice
Whats the statue of limitations for Law malpractice?
A Lawyer defended me in a case where I was out of state. He said would plea for a lesser sentence. I received paper for change of plea from not guilty to a contest. I was under the impression it was for the Plea of a lesser charge. I didnt receive anything in the mail stating this.
What are my options to change the verdict?

Re: Law Malpractice
This is not an issue of malpractice. The issue is whether you can withdraw your plea based on involuntariness. I would recommend hiring another lawyer to help you with this.
