Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
is it against the law for someone else to slam me car door on me.

Yes, it's battery, possibly aggravated battery.
Of course it's against the law if they do it on purpose. It's at least a battery.
You may be the same person who asked a related question, and if so.... In the related question, you stated that someone slammed your car door as you left their property. You did not say the door was "slammed on you" which implies that the door struck your body (or it could be a figure of speech, like someone "hung up on me"). So, depending on what you mean by the door was "slammed on you", my answer and these answers are correct. If the door was "slammed on you" and struck you, it is criminal battery. If the door was "slammed on you", and it damaged the door, you can file a civil suit to recover costs to repair the door. If the door was "slammed on you" but it did not hit you and it did not damage the door, nothing illegal (or actionable) occurred.
