i need a lawyer

hello, i was arrested for possesion of cocaine on 4-21-07. i have never had any other arrests. this happened in pinellas county.when the police asked me if it was my cocaine i said yes. i am in court today monday 4-23-07.i dont have any idea who to talk to, what to say.should i plead guilty and pay the fine or should i hire an attorney.i financially support and physically support my elderly mother and i messed up.if you would be interested in my case please respond

I, unfortunately, practice in Dade county. However, if you are in Court find out from either the in-court prosecutor, public defender and/or judge about what the plea offer is for first time offenders such as yourself. In Dade county, first time offenders usually receive a pre-trial diversion program called "drug court." It allows to enter into a narcotics anonymous program and if you succesfully complete the program, the state drops the charges.
