Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
When you ask someone to leave your resident and they don't, what rights do you have? I got a knife and told them to leave and was arrested for aggravated assult.

You have the right to defend yourself and your residence. That doesn't necessarily mean you can use a knife. It is certainly a close call but you wre probably within your rights. You must talk to an attorney since you are facing up to 5 years prison.
