Legal Age of Sevual Concent
In the state of florida is it true that a 17 year old female can concent to sex with a 23 year old male?

There are certain circumstances that will allow a 17 year old the same status as an adult (18+). But, unless that has happened, she can consent to all the sex with a 23 year old she wants - but the 23 year old runs the criminal risk (the 17 year old risks nothing) of being charged with rape for several years thereafter. Considering the immaturity of a 17 year old, the 23 year old is best advised to avoid such behavior regardless of what the 17 year old says or does.
