Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is it legal for a cop 2 pull sum1 over arrest them 4 dwls & not read him his rights until they arrest him a2nd time 4 drugs on the passenager side of the floorboard of the van,but let the passenager go free & no mention of her in the arrest report,Then the cops go 2 a house &search it give the woman @ the house a copy of the search warrwnt the cops find drugs & other stuff like that but let the legal renter(the woman) of the house go free & charge the man that was arrested in the van down the road.The man DID NOT live there,had NO bills of mail in his name @tae house he WAS NOT even around the house & got charged with Trafficking in meth & about 7 outher charges no1 else was arrested or charged 4 ne thing.No fingerprint,no dna nothung. How can the citrus county(florida) get away with such sloppy police work & is it legal?

What happens in situations like these, is that you may have a suppression hearing and depending on the facts and testimony, certain evidence may be thrown out. At that point the state usually drops the charges if they do not have enough evidence to proceed. Have a lawyer review the police report with you, to see if you have any grounds for any sort of hearings.
