Is there any legal defense that can be used in a case where an adult was lied to and shown a photocopied false drivers license from a minor whom he was dating at the time and had sexual relations with under the false knowledge that she was an adult

Under the law, that is not a defense. But, it's a good excuse for a jury pardon.
