Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

What is the legal format for a letter of confession of a person who is not being

A friend of mine accidently drop a small amount of cocain in my car while I was giving him a ride home. On my way home a police officer pulled me over and found the controlled substance and arrested me. I spoke to my friend the next day and my friend agreed to confess to a judge that the drug belongs to him. I am concerned that my friend might pull his word of honesty and not show for the trail. I would like to know if there is a legal document that I can type and have him sign in which has his confession that will hold in court in case he doesn't show up.

It would be nice if your friend stepped up to the plate. But there are other legal issues that your attorney can explore. This is a "constructive possession" case. Your attorney should file a motion to suppress in this case to try and get the cocaine suppressed. The complexities are to numerous to list but I would not rely on your friend, a person with a cocaine habit, to show up in any courtroom much less confess before a judge.

You may also want to find new friends.
