Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
how do i get legal guardianship of a 16 year old girl who is a runaway. She is staying with my son and I, {the mother}. I do not want to go to jail for harboring a fugitive. could this happen?

To obtain a guardianship, you have to have permission of the parents. It's not illegal for her to live with you, but she must return to her parents if one of them demands it.
