Is there a 'license' to practice law? Where does someone get a license to practice law?

Of course there is. Licensed attorneys receive a license through the Florida Bar, which is regulated by the Florida Supreme Court. To become a member of the Bar, an applicant must pass the bar exam after completing law school and submit an application to the Florida Bar, which includes a character and fitness assessment.
