Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Hello i live in Florida but my sentence was thru the state of Virginia. The judge gave me 10 years total for two charges, 5 years a piece with four years and 9 months suspended per charge. I got put on probation upon release of my 6 months active sentence. With that being said my understanding was that I was only suppose to be on probation until i paid all of my restitution and court fees. I just recently finished paying all of that off and im looking at my papers and it states 10 years good behavior, and where the probation part is on the same paper it states Indefinite period of time. so does this mean i will have to be on probation for the whole 10 years just for my good behavior or could they release me since i paid all my fees?

This is a question for a VA attorney as that is the law that will apply to your situation. A Florida attorney can't answer your question. Post in the Virginia forum.
