Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I currently live in Washington State and have to register as a Level 1 Sex Offender (Low Risk). My offense happened when I was 12 years old and I was convicted when I was 14 years old of Child Molestation 1 before July 1st, 2007. I have completed treatment and my Juvenile Parole. I will be moving to Florida for college. What are my registration requirements or do I even need to register?

You must register in Florida. Florida Statute 943.0435 requires anyone convicted of a sex offense to register if they reside here. You must report to the sheriff's office within 48 hours of establishing residence.
