Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
someone that i lived with and took care of had left the state to be with other family members and is trying to get cancer treatments in another state. This person left me a document stating that the dogs, security deposit and all household items be left to me and my daughter. This was witness by this person myself my daughter and 4 other people signed this document. Now he is saying he still wanted some other things which have already have been sold and or giving away. Doesn't this signed and witness document protect me? Or can he try to file criminal charges or would this just become a civil matter if he chooses so?
