how long after a motion for change of plea has been set will they come up with new court date?

It can be anywhere from one day until the day the judge is ready to hear it. There is no time limit other than a "reasonable" time limit. If you're in a hurry, tell your attorney. If you want to delay see how long the judge will set it off.
