how long can a person be held before being formally charged in broward county florida?

This can be complex, but generally speaking the state can only hold one for 33 days before they have to ROR that person. There are lots of exceptions and in some cases even earlier but you need to sit down with an attorney in Broward to discuss the details of the case.
