Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Did I lose my Civil Rights

I was charged with felony assault and tampering with a witness it was really a fist fight and we talked after the fight so when i went to court a deal was made to me plead out and i would get probation of which if i had no trouble for half of the time the judge would withhold adjudication .i was a perfect citizen and the promise was kept did I lose my civil rights and do I have to

go to court to get them back.

Also all of the charges were supposed to be dropped on the matter as they put up about 3 other charges and they were dropped but one still shows open in the County Clerks office computer I believe this has cost me some good opportunities as it was an old bottle of steroids this was back in 1998 they were not even classified but they have it listed as cocaine which i have never even fooled with it do I have any leverage to get this removed immediately as this was part of the deal as you can see it is open since 1/30/98 and it is about to be 9 years old any advice as I am really upset

Re: Did I lose my Civil Rights

You need an attorney for this. What county is this? I have experience doing this and have two clients right now that I'm working on the same thing for. It can be corrected but it does take a little time and it unless the State agrees to the corrections it needs to be set before the court in a motion. If you want to call me at work tomorrow I can discuss your situation with you and quote you a fee.
