Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is it possible to lose your job as a Correctional Officer and that you can't get custody of your children if you are convicted of domestic violence misdemeanor ?

Yes you could lose your job because you can't legally possess a firearm anymore. Of course, you could be reassigned but it is solely up to the employer. As far as custody goes, yes it is certainly possible but you could fight that as well. You should talk to an attorney that handles custody matters if you feel you're going to lose custody.
