Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have a main charge of forgery on someone else's check. There was not enough evidence to prove that I was the one who forged this check. This check was written on Capital One Bank account. Capital One has not and will not prosecute. The individual pressed charges. Even the Judge made sure I understood that there was not enough evidence to pursue the forgery charges. Therefore shouldn't the other charges of theft and uttering be dropped also
