Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I know a man who is facing criminal felony charges for stealing $8K from the bank where he worked at. He was recently deemed to be incompetent to stand trail on virtue of mental illness by the courts. The court ordered docs reflect that he WILL reside and he has testified that he lives at his girlfriends home which I have proof that he doesn't and that he has been lying to the courts.
If I told on him and give a sworn statement to the courts of what I know, could I get in trouble for snitching him out?
