Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I want to get into the military, so I need to know if I can have an "adjudication withheld" case changed to dropped charges? Or does "adjudication withheld" mean the case is closed?
I went through the PTI program and paid everything, but the military still considers this an "admission of guilt" and wants to see charges dropped.

If you went through Pre Trial Intervention, normally the charges are dropped and you get a Nolle Prosequi. If you have plead or lost in trial, that is when you have the possibility of of getting a withhold of adjudication.
Whatever may have happened, you normally have 30 days from the date of your sentencing to appeal it. It may be wise to contact a criminal defense lawyer to discuss your case.
