Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
miranda warning
If someone is taken to the station for questioning and then is read miranda warning, must there be a 3rd party witness? We found a statute that states there should be a witness.

You do not need a third party witness.
There could be other issues with the questioning that could warrant suppression of the statement.
