Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
mirandizing a suspect
my fiance was supposedly taken in for questioning for an attempted murder case while on probation and he was taken in in handcuffs yet never mirandized. he asked for an attorney and was denied the access to one. he has since been charged with first degree attempted murder and has yet to be mirandized and his public defender sees nothing wrong in this what can I do to help him???

Hire him an attorney. I am not being critical of the public defenders but they are extremely over worked and have too many cases assigned to them. What county was he arrested in?

I would hire him a private lawyer. Thats all you can do.
