Re: Misdemeanor Charge
If you pled no contest and the judge withheld adjudication, you are eligible to apply to expunge your record. You must complete certain forms which should be available at the clerk's office, pay a fee and submit a full set of fingerprints. The application will then be forwarded to the State and the arresting agency. A court date will be set after allowing ample time for your record to be reviewed and to confirm that you have had no further incidents or any conviction of a crime. If you are accurate, your record should be expunged.
This is s serious legal matter which will have a substantial effect on your career and life in general. I suggest that you may wish to engage the services of an attorney who is experienced in matters of this type. The attorney will be able to efficiently process your paperwork and have your case scheduled at the earliest opportunity. This would only be a small investment in your future.
