Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
misdemeanor 2 class first offense
i was arrested on 31 dec 07, for disorderly intoxication and risisting arrest w/o violence, after posting a $100 bond i was released, no court date has been issued, what happens next? i've never been in trouble before. i'm a 46 y.o. female

Most likely, you'll get a court date in the mail for an arraignment, at which time you'll have to plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest.
If you get a lawyer, you may not have to appear at the arraignment, though you probably will have to appear at one later court date, at least.
You should speak to a lawyer right away.
