Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My mother died in May of 2008. I lived had with her for several years and when she died I moved and got my own apartment. My sister became her legal represenative for her will. She had access to my keys that were still at my mothers house and took my car without permission. She moved and for the last 2 years I have not seen my car. I called Ford Motor company to get a duplicate copy of the Lein Release because she took the title too. I think she forged the title to put the car in her name thinking I would never find her. Resently I was in Destin, Florida and saw her driving my car. I want my car back.

Your sister committed a theft and you need to report this to the police. Don't be surprised, though, if the police do nothing since you waited two years to do something about it. Reporting this is the only way to get your back quickly. However, you may have to file a lawsuit for civil theft in order to get it back.
