Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I moved from California to Florida. The moving company loaded several items onto the truck in boxes that they sold me and packed. In front of three other witnesses plus myself the movers loaded the items onto the truck. The contents of the boxes were two computer systems with 27" LCD monitors, a talking microwave, a computer stereo system, clothing, shoes, toiletry items, etc. The items come to a total value of between $9,000 to $13,000. The movers did not deliver the items to us in Florida and now deny ever having them. They did not itemize the contents of the boxes packed by them. I am reporting them to PUC and filing a police report; however I know that I will need to sue them in order to attempt to recover my loss. What court would I sue them in and in which state?

You need to talk to a civil lawyer about this. It might be filed in county court but there may be reasons to file it in circuit court too. Only a lawyer qualified to handle civil claims can help you so try posting your question there.
