Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I just moved into a new house. My old landlord filed a report for grand theft against me. I did not take any of the things that he reported I did. They are all still in the house. I called and spoke to the officer who took the report and informed him the items were still in the house. He informed me that he doesnt get involved in civil matters and said there was nothing i could do. The lndlord is going around telling my old neighbors that I am a thief and a drug addict. What can I do?

You should talk to a civil attorney and see if there might be a slander case against him.
