Re: nolle pros

If you got a NP, then you can say that you have never been convicted (provided this is your only offense.) You can likely seal the case, and later expunge it.

If you would like help with this process, or have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.

Depending on your prior record, or lack thereof, you should be eligible for an expungement.

If your record is expunged then you will not have to tell potential jobs about the incident.

In the meantime you should tell them that you have been charged but that the case was dismissed; further, you may want to tell them that you are working on having the charges expunged as you care about your record and you are doing everything possible to put this behind you.

The expungement process can take a while but I would be glad to help.

Feel free to give me a ring, my office is here in Broward County.

Contact a local criminal defense atorney in your area to give yourself the best opportunity to achieve a expungement or sealing. As far as the employer situation, every employer has different requirements as conditions to employment. The process will likely take 6 monts or longer.
