what does Notice of Intent to Participate in Discovery mean

It means that you, or your attorney is notifying the state's attorney that you want the state to give you all the information it has on you in the particular case, and that you, or your attorney, will, in turn provide the state with any information you have about the case, including the names of any witnesses you intend to call or believe may have information about the case.
