obtaining controlled substance by fraud
I have a relative that was charged with felony in April for obtaining controlled substance by fraud. She previously had other arrests for this and served time & completed drug treatment. Now 6+ yrs later she does it and the charges have been dropped/abandoned. Did the pharmacy possibly not want to prosecute or did she maybe agree to go back to drug treatment?

No the pharmacy would not have control over the prosecution. If it was dropped right away they had a problem provong their case. If it was dropped many months or a year later she may have made a deal.
