Outstanding warrant for a bad check

If a person found out that there is an outstanding warrant for their arrest because of a bad check, what does that person need to do to rectify the situation?

If the person does not have a significant criminal history and the check is for a misdemeanor amount, an attorney could enter a written plea "in absentia" for the client, w/ (most likely) nominal fines and costs. Even if not a misdemeanor, an experienced criminal defense attorney would be the best course to follow. Good Luck, S. Halbert
