Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I paid a defense attorney 7,500. dollars to defend me, and get a plea bargain. That was 7 months ago and until now nothing has happen. I want to hire another attorney and fire this one I have now. But I want to know if I can get my money back?

No, you probably cannot. You need to talk to your attorney and discuss your claims with him/her. Sometimes it just takes a long time to work out a reasonable resolution to a case. Have your attorney explain what work is being done on the case and when he/she expects a resolution.

I agree, probably not. It depends on the terms of your agreement but most fees are non refundable.
