i went to a party
if i went to a party but never went in the house can i be charged for burglary, cuz the house was broke into, i had nothing to do with that??

A "charge" is just that . . . a charge, As I tell all of my clients, anyone can be charged with anything. Proving it is the challenge. If the police have probable cause (that may be a statement or proceeds of the crime found in close proximity to you shortly after the crime or any number of other things) they can arrest you. The prosecutor will need a lot more to sustain their burden of proof. If you think you might be charged, call a local CRIMINAL DEFENSE lawyer immediately, even before the police contact you.
