Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am paying restitution for identity theft. I missed two months payments. A postcard came saying Order of Arrest had been issued because I missed the Collection Court Hearing. Said I had to pay $250 fine in person to purge the matter. The card said issued will not be discussed over the phone. Not only do I not have any money, but my family is paying for gas in my car for me to drive home to Indiana. Once I arrived in Indiana, could an atty handle this matter for me at the clerk of courts?

Possibly. Someone could go and pay the purge amount and the court may dismiss the warrant.
