What is the penalty for the male in a prostitution sting?

It depends with what the male is charged with. Most prostitution cases are misdemeanors, whether it is solicitation, assignation to commit prostitution, prostitution, et cetera. Of course, prior convictions can enhance the charge into something more serious. The sentence for a misdemeanor can be anything from a fine to probation to some jail time. But there is no specific penalty because every case is different and more needs to be known to speculate as to a likely sentence.
