Depends on the drug and the quantity, among other things. Anywhere from 1 year jail to 30 years prison.

It depends on the kind of illegal drug and the amount. Possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis, for example, is a first degree misdemeanor and punishable by up to 1 year in jail. Possession of many other drugs is a third degree felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison. Possession of, for example, more than 4 grams of hydrocodone is considered Trafficking and punishable by up to 30 years in prison with a minimum mandatory of 3 years.
