Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

if I was pepper spayed by my neighbor . then she attempted to file a temporary injunction against me for stalking a week later . And was denied .but the paperwork I received from the local sheriff says I have to appear in court . what is my appearance needed in court for and if I went to the state attorney to file charges for her using pepperspray against me and they said they will file misdemeanor charges against her what is going on?

There are separate cases going on here. The State files criminal charges. The injunction is a civil case being put forward by your neighbor. The judge denied the temporary injunction because the judge believed what was written in the complain was insufficient for setting a temporary injunction but there is still a hearing to decide on its final disposition. Make sure you appear for court because if you don't then it will likely be granted against you.

You should have an attorney handle the injunction and they can present that charges are being filed against your neighbor, in addition to the other evidence.
