Perjury only happens when you're at trial or when you're sworn in not at a hearing right? What if someone lies on your behalf in court who is not your lawyer while you're at a hearing

Bottom line, if you're under oath for a deposition or trial or any court hearing, and the state can prove you lied, then that is perjury. For your specific situation, I suggest you speak to an attorney in your area in person.
