Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
If a person is charged with domestic violence, and then the case is listed as closed and it says phase prosecutor: nolle prosequi. is that the same as saying it never happened? i need to get a no contact order and this was his previous criminal history.

A nolle prosequi is not the same as "it never happened." If you want to get a no contact order, you can still file for an injunction which is completely separate from the criminal case.
