Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
There is no physical evidence, and the only thing a case is built upon is a testimony from a teenager [we will call him Nicki] who has shown his word to be without credibility (Nicki claimed the guy he told on had told him to "go steal cars with me or I'll kill you"; yet, when Nicki was released from jail, he went and stole vehicles himself). Will this case go far?

Your question is impossible to answer with the information given. If you're asking whether a person can be convicted based on testimony alone, the answer is yes. However, there are way too many other variables to answer what will happen. If you're a victim or an accused, I suggest you talk to an attorney in your area.
