Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
plea agreement
My son accepted a plea bargain for murder in December, 1999 because he was told that he could get the dealth penalty. He was sentenced to life without parole. I'd like to know if he can withdraw the plea? And what is post conviction relief? Thank you.

Re: plea agreement
It it nearly impossible to withdraw a plea although it can be done bbut it has to be 30 days after the plea. If he received affirmative misinformation from his lawyer he may have a shot. Post conviction would be the way with ineffective asssitance. This is MAJOR LEAGUE stuff, call an attorney.
